DJ Lamiez Holworthy discusses the difficulties of being a working mother. When Lamiez Holworthy-Morule announced her return to full-time employment, she used the opportunity to reflect on her experience as a mother and the difficulties associated with being a working mother.

Leano-Laone Zion Morule, the couple’s first child, was welcomed by the Metro FM host and her spouse, Khuli Chana, true name Khulane Morule. The first-time mother returned to her job at Metro FM, where she spoke up about her feelings and said that she felt bad for leaving her beloved boy behind.

The radio anchor shared details about her recovery from giving birth to her kid in a lengthy Instagram post.

“First week fully back at work and I can’t explain all the emotions I’ve gone through- from the little mommy guilt that comes with leaving your little one behind to the hunger that comes with wanting to go extra harder just for him. Then there’s your body having to adapt or learn to push through the crazy hours all over again and still give every gig your all…”

Even though she felt guilty, the well-known DJ said that having so much on her to-do list at home made her even more determined to follow her aspirations.

“I then look at all the love I’ve received at each and every one and it makes it all a little easier. It reminds me of the genuine love and support that I have, not only at home but at gigs too and that alone is enough to carry me. And now? Now that I have this newly found purpose, drive and hunger- I cannot wait to go even harder and still balance being a wife, a mother, a daughter, sister, friend and all the other hats that I wear but most importantly? Still being able to be MYSELF,” she added.

After Lamiez spoke out about her difficulties as a mother, her supporters expressed their support. Some people reminded her that although the new path would initially seem difficult, it will be worthwhile once her son is an adult.

mamatripplel5 shared: “You are such a hardworking mom.”

@mahleomhle_ posted: “A few years from now, he’ll be proud of his mommy.”
