Amidst the social media frenzy and debate on a statement made by the 30 BG boss, Davido, regarding how the global trend of afrobeats started, the singer’s cousin, B-Red, in a recent interview with popular podcast brand Echo Room, opened up on how the ‘Unavailable’ crooner met with Burna Boy in the early days of their career.
B-Red spoke about how Wizkid had reacted to hearing Davido’s first song, ‘Back When,’ on which he had featured rapper Naeto C stating that Wiz wanted to know more about the artist who sang the song.
B-Red went on to share that Davido had met Burna Boy following his trip to Port Harcourt, indicating that Burna had been excited to meet them. He revealed that Burna ran after their car and couldn’t contain his excitement to meet them, adding that the African Giant had revealed that he was a fan of David then.
