The Grammy-winning musician is known for having an enigmatic public persona, so erasing all of the images from his social media pages or unfollowing a significant portion of his followers is nothing new for him.
Big Wiz has continued down his mysterious route by unfollowing everyone on Instagram (including his crew) save for street-hop artist and vocalist Naira Marley, three days after indicating that he could be releasing new music soon via his Twitter account.
Although there is no evidence that Wizkid and Naira Marley are particularly close, their interactions over the years have demonstrated their respect and love for one another, which has led to musical pairings.
Another news revealed that Nigerian singer Victony has addressed claims that he is emulating Afrobeats megastar Wizkid.
It all started when Victony posted a video of himself dancing to his song in the studio via Twitter. He wore a singlet, baggy trousers, and sunglasses in the video.
After a while, a Twitter user uploaded the same video with the description ‘I thought this was Wizkid at first sight’.
