Victony tells the date of his most recent operation.
Talented Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer, Anthony Victor, popularly known as Victony has disclosed the date of his most recent surgery, which was done in January of this year in order to restore his movement.
Recall, Mp3bullet reported that in a fatal vehicle accident that left one person dead and three injured in 2021, Victony came dangerously close to losing her life. For over a year after the accident, he was confined to a wheelchair.
The singer who is now back on his feet stated he is OK after his most recent surgery during a recent interview with reality star Tacha on Cool FM, Lagos.
The ‘Soweto’ crooner said, “I recently just had my last surgery. I did that in January. And thanks be to God, everything has been good since then.”
Victony claimed that his affinity for music began when he was a little child.
The host, Tacha, asked: “What made you want to do music?”
Victony responded: “I guess, it has been natural. Ever since I was a kid, mum would tell me what used to make me stop crying is she would play me BlackStreet Boyz.
“I can’t even tell you a timestamp when I started [music] or when that inspiration clicked. I just always loved music.”
The musician declared his intention to mix vintage style and sound with contemporary afrobeats.
