Chelsea and AC Milan reportedly agree on a deal for Ruben Loftus-Cheek

One of the products of Chelsea’s academy, Ruben Loftus-Cheek has reportedly agreed on personal terms with Serie A club, AC Milan on a long-term deal.

The English midfielder is one of the players that are expected to be offloaded before the arrival of Mauricio Pochettinho on Monday, July 3, 2023. Chelsea and AC Milan are looking at the possibility of a permanent move for Ruben Loftus-cheek instead of a loan deal.

Chelsea are looking to balance their books and also build a team that suits Poch’s style of play. The Blues confirmed the exit of Kalidou Koulibaly and N’Golo Kante to Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia respectively while Edouard Mendy and Hakim Ziyech are also expected to follow suit.

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has been linked with a move to Manchester United, while midfielders Kai Havertz and Matteo Kovacic are expected to join Arsenal and Manchester City respectively.
