Slikour Opens Up On Why Kwesta Is One Of His Favourite Rappers In SA. If we are to come up with the SA Hip-hop Hall Of Fame for the past decade, surely the name Kwesta will be on the list considering the rapper’s level of consistency. The g.o.d Guluva hitmaker has been in the game for 16 years and his raps have impacted even the OGs in the game.

During an interview with Kwesta, Slikour commended the former for his crazy level of innovation and how he has managed to stay relevant in the game for so long. “I want to close it like this, even if I had never met you and I always ask myself this when I listen to your music. Even if I had never met you, the way I met you, Im sure you were gonna be one of my favourite rappers.” Slikour said to Kwesta.

“I’m being so serious, you know I’m telling you like the way you kind use words and people are like this is the stupidest thing you know. It’s a stupid sentence but it’s just saying so much. Even on the album (Speak N Vrostaan), Im like this is what I want to hear,” Slikour added.

In celebration of the long duration of the rap game, Kwesta organised a one-man show that he dubbed “16th Bar.” The event will take place on the 12th of August 2023 at  Carnival City Big Top Arena.

“I am but a product of your love and support. A work of many contributors,” he said. “Made in the ghetto by maids in the ghetto. 5 albums in and a life long verse. This is THE 16th BAR of the perfect verse.” Wrote Kwesta.

“Thank you for writing it with me. A celebration of 16 years in the game. The 16th Bar. Carnival City Big Top Arena. 12 August 2023. Tickets available now! @computicket Click the link in the bio. @carnivalcity_sun.”
